Shipping policy

At FoilTrust, we aim to ensure reliable and efficient delivery for all B2B orders. As a manufacturer and exporter, we work with international logistics providers to ship products worldwide. However, shipping times and delivery conditions may vary depending on destination, carrier, and customs regulations.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 

1. Processing Time

Standard production and processing time is based on order quantity and product type

Orders are processed after payment confirmation

Production may begin immediately upon order confirmation for customized or bulk orders

Processing time does not include shipping time.

 

2. Shipping Methods

We work with international freight forwarders and carriers, including but not limited to:

Sea freight (FCL / LCL)

Air freight

Express courier (DHL / FedEx / UPS, when applicable)

Shipping method will be selected based on:

Order volume

Destination

Cost efficiency

Customer requirements (if agreed in advance)

 

3. Delivery Time (Estimates Only)

Estimated delivery times vary by region:

Asia: 7–15 business days

North America: 15–35 business days (sea freight may be longer)

Europe: 15–40 business days

Other regions: 20–45 business days

Delays may occur due to:

Customs clearance

Port congestion

Carrier delays

Weather conditions

Force majeure events

 

4. Risk Transfer & Ownership

 Once goods are handed over to the carrier, all risk of loss, damage, or delay transfers to the buyer.

Depending on the agreed trade term (EXW / FOB / CIF / DDP):

EXW / FOB: Buyer assumes full shipping risk after shipment handover

CIF: Risk transfers once goods are shipped, while insurance may apply if purchased

DDP (if applicable): Limited responsibility as agreed in contract terms

FoilTrust is not responsible for carrier delays, customs delays, or third-party logistics failures.

 

5. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

Buyers are responsible for all import duties, VAT, customs clearance fees, and related charges unless otherwise agreed in writing

Customs policies vary by country and are outside our control

Delays caused by customs clearance are not the responsibility of FoilTrust

 

6. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

FoilTrust is not responsible for:

Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Failed deliveries due to customer error

Additional costs caused by address changes after shipment

Any reshipment or correction costs will be borne by the buyer.

 

7. Undelivered / Returned Shipments

If a shipment is returned due to:

Incorrect address

Refusal to accept delivery

Failure to clear customs

Failure to pay import duties/taxes

The buyer will be responsible for:

Return shipping costs

Re-shipping costs

Any storage or handling fees incurred

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed only after deducting all related logistics costs.

 

8. Order Tracking

Where applicable, tracking information will be provided once the shipment is dispatched.

Tracking updates may be delayed depending on carrier systems and international transit conditions.

 

9. Delays & Force Majeure

FoilTrust is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters

War, civil unrest, or government restrictions

Port congestion

Carrier disruptions

Customs delays

Pandemics or global emergencies

 

10. Inspection Upon Receipt

Customers are required to inspect goods immediately upon arrival.

Any claims related to:

Damage

Shortage

Packaging issues

must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence (photos/videos).

Failure to report within this period may affect eligibility for claims.

 

11. No Liability for Indirect Loss

FoilTrust shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from shipping delays or delivery issues, including but not limited to:

Loss of profit

Business interruption

Operational delays

Customer penalties
